CAI-W Bordeaux : Boyd Exell wins the Driving World Cup in Bordeaux
Australien driver Boyd Exell, who had been beaten last year by Koos de Ronde, won the Driving World Cup Final for the fifth time yesterday in Bordeaux to join Michael Freund in the history book.

Saturday night, after the first round, Boyd Exell was only fourth and didn't seem to stand a chance to win the title. But the Australian champion took every possible risk on Sunday, and finally managed to get ahead of the German revelation Daniel Schneiders by 0.69 seconds ! 2013 champion Koos de Ronde completes the podium.
Dutch driver Ijsbrand Chardon, winner of the first round Saturday night, unfortunately did not step up on the start line on Sunday, as two of his horses were hurt.
