Young Kentucky Equestrian Wins a Passport to Normandy

Article

For Sadie Boschert, Alltech’s first “Barn Night in the Bluegrass” was not just a night to celebrate her love of horses with youth from around Kentucky. She will remember Friday, Nov. 1, at the Alltech National Horse Show as the night she won every young equestrian’s dream – a free trip to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy.

Boschert, a member of the Midway College equestrian team in Kentucky, was the lucky winner of the grand prize trip for four to the Games next year. During Alltech’s first Barn Night in the Bluegrass, presented by Group C, more than 400 young equestrians and horse enthusiasts cheered on all-star equestrians in hopes of claiming one of many prizes give away throughout the night. Other prizes awarded were a year’s supply of LIFEFORCE Elite™, Alltech’s daily digestive supplement for performance horses, subscriptions to Sidelines magazine, official merchandise of the Games and a golf cart. Check out the video to hear Sophie’s reaction to her win and find out what she’s looking forward to seeing.
