Julien Courbet, ambassador for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy :
Julien Courbet is principally known as a television presenter. Some of his programmes, such as Sans aucun doute (similar to the UK’s “Watchdog” series), have earned him a reputation a specialist and on-screen whistle-blower on scams.
He also presents a daily radio show on RTL.
With his own production company, La Concepteria, Julien Courbet produces numerous other programmes such as Tous ensemble and Le jour où tout a basculé.
Since late 2012, Julien Courbet has also performed on stage in "Julien Courbet se lâche".
In his spare time, the presenter is a keen show jumper. For the last ten years or so, Julien Courbet has put vast amounts of energy into this hobby and dedicates all of the time he is not working as a journalist or presenter to horses. He stumbled upon show jumping “by accident”, when he took his daughter to join an equestrian centre and joined up himself as a way of passing the time while he waited for her.
Since 2009, Julien Courbet has shared his passion on the specialist equestrian channel Equidia with two programmes: Mise en selle and Une saison avec Julien Courbet.
Regularly triumphing in any competitions he takes part in, Julien Courbet is living proof that learning to ride at a later age is not necessarily a handicap!
