Presentation

Located in the Orne area, the « The Palace of Versailles for horses » as it is also known, is a historic centre of dressage and birthplace of purebred Percherons. Built under the reign of Louis XIV, this prestigious stud, stretching out over 1,000 hectares, will stage the Eventing Dressage and Cross-Country competitions.

How to get there?

ADDRESS : Le Haras national du Pin, 61310 Le Pin-au-Haras.

Le Pin National Stud (Haras National du Pin) is located on the road D 926, 180 kilometers away from Paris, 40 kilometers north of Alençon and 15km south of Argentan's train station. 

From Paris, it is possible to go to Le Pin National Stud by :

  • CAR : By highway (A13 followed by A28, exit Mortagne au P., Sées. Then follow Lisieux-Rouen-Le Havre-Chailloué until Nonant-Le-Pin, and Le Pin-au-Haras) 
  • TRAIN : from Argentan's train station (line Paris-Granville)
  • PLANE : from the 2 airports in Paris : Paris-Orly and Paris Charles de Gaulle.
