Polo Exhibition: an exciting programme ahead
The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy will host not only the world championship of the FEI's eight official disciplines (Jumping, Endurance, Eventing, Dressage, Driving, Para-Dressage, Reining, Vaulting), but also two exhibition tournaments of up-and-coming equestrian disciplines: a demonstration tournament of Horse-Ball from Wednesday 27 to Sunday, 31 August in Saint-Lô, and a Polo exhibition at the Deauville International Polo Club (45 Avenue Hocquart de Turtot, 14800 Deauville) on Saturday 6 September from 2pm.
The afternoon will be marked by two major sporting events: a mixed junior match lasting 45 minutes, and a professional game "Team France vs. rest of the world" with 4 players of the French National Team vs 4 of the best foreign Polo players in the world !
Throughout the day, guests will also get to enjoy many activities with:
- A photocall with Norman the official mascot as the guest star
- Live entertainment around the discovery of polo and Argentinian culture, with an initiation to polo on ponies, a signature session with Polo players
- A Driving exhibition
- An Exhibitors Village, with a candy shop, a space "Tierra Gauchos" which will offer all products related to the world of polo for both the General Public to players, stand press, and an official shop of the Games
All these activities on site will be free.
