To bring alive the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games Normandy 2014™, the Organising Committee is recruiting 3,000 volunteers from all over the world! Your commitment, skills and passion are an integral part of the event. Only these qualities will enable the 1,000 competitors and their horses to perform at the best of their abilities in front of the 500,000 visitors expected to attend the 15 competition days in Normandy.
Whether you come from our neighborhood or the other side of the planet, you will share with an entire region, the pride of hosting the greatest equestrian event on earth.
Volunteers are entrusted with numerous missions and each of these assignments is part of making the event a success: Meet and greet, communications, transportation, technology, health, safety and event services, to name just a few.
Each volunteer through his or her commitment, skills and smile is at the heart of the event. We count on them to be the smiling face of the Games in Normandy from 23 August to September 2014 !

- April - June 2014: The 3,000 volunteers are selected and informed
- June - August 2014: Training sessions

CURRENT STATS (19/06/2014)
Individual interviews : Interviews are now closed, but you can still apply to the volunteer program online at http://benevoles.normandie2014.com You will be placed on a waiting list, and we'll give you an appointment for an interview very soon if we see that we need more volunteers.
Candidates : All applying candidated who participated to an individual interview with the Organising Committee will receive an answer (positive or negative) very soon (if it's not done already)
Volunteers - 2013 Test Events : The 620 volunteers who participated in the 2013 test events will automically come back for the Games in 2014. They should receive an e-mail soon after the interviews are completed. Those volunteers can either perform the same mission as in 2013, or ask to be assigned to another position. The other 320 candidates interviewed to volunteer during the 2013 test events, do not have to come back for a second interview either.
VOLUNTEERS' PORTAL
If you already applied to the volunteers' program, all the information will be available on the volunteers portal (in French) within your personal space, so do not forget to login regularly ! You will receive an email at each stage of the process (interview, assignment, training, etc..), but it is possible that this e-mail becomes a spam, so please remember to check your spam box regularly too !

ACCOMODATION
The Organizing Committee offers various accomodation solutions reserved exclusively to the Games' volunteers:
- Accommodation free of charge via a web platform www.normandie2014.sumbolon.fr through which local residents can offer their hospitality to volunteers securely
- Home Area (camping) at the price of 12 € for the entire stay, so that you can host your tent
- Cheap holiday residence at the price of 25 € per night
- Hotels at preferential price
All those information are provided to volunteers through a personnalized e-mail.
