SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION FUND

The Organising Committee of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy has created the “Sustainable Development and Innovation Fund”.

Relying on the participation of some of the event’s contributing partners (around 5% of the sponsorship income), this fund is dedicated to financing projects that promote the event’s values in the economic, touristic, social and environmental sectors.

Various actions realised as part of the Organising Committee’s sustainable development programme and a selection of the Territorial Project’s approved initiatives are financed by this fund. 

For example, a "Working horse village" will be created within the Games Village. It will allow everyone to see just how much working horses have to offer and the many uses they have : transport, logistics, car park security, waste disposal… The many initiatives and activities that are planned will only go to showcase these wonderful horses, and how they can considered a modern day of renewable energy.
