The Organising Committee gets ready for the Games !

On 29 and 30 January, the 100 employees of the Normandy 2014 Organising Committee got together at d'Ornano Stadium and at the Mercure hotel of Caen during a seminar organised by Fabien Grobon, and driven by the event's Site Directors.

An interesting seminar that aimed to standardize the level of information of all the employees, to clarify the interactions between the different departments, to identify the potential critical moments, and to allow employees who had not participated in the 2013 test events to get a clear idea of the challenges of a typical day during the Games.

Mathieu Collet, the Site Director of the Games Village, the Zenith and the Exposition Centre of Caen, stressed the importance of this exercise : "With only 200 days to go before the start of the event, everything becomes more concrete, and it was therefore essential to ensure that all employees had the same level of information. The results are very positive. We really feel like everyone is already thinking " It's almost there, we have to deliver". With a "Can Do" of course! "

A great team of 100 people, which will get even bigger over the next few months in order to organise a fantastic event from 23 August to 7 September !
