Vaulting demonstration: Vaulting involves one or more vaulters performing on a walking or cantering horse guided on a long rein by a lunger. The horse wears a surcingle and a large pad so the vaulters can do a series of mounts and dismounts requiring a high level of balance and physical strength. (With Cécile Kersulec)
