Delaveau withdraws Lacrimoso

Brief

Patrice Delaveau and Lacrimoso 3*HDC withdraw from the FEI World Cup Jumping Final in Lyon today.

Patrice Delaveau said: "I had a little doubt when I left the arena last night. This morning when the horse left the box for the first warm-up I felt the horse was not quite right.”

A veterinary check confirmed Patrice’s feeling, and the back-up team, the rider and the owners of the horse decided not to take any risks and to withdraw Lacrimoso from the competition.

A bit later today, American rider Kent Farrington, winner of the second round yesterday in the World Cup Final in Lyon, and Ireland's Billy Twomey also announced their withdrawal from the competition.
